Seattle native Barry Eggehorn (worship leader/song writer) grew up in a musical home. His father was not only a musician but a church orchestra and choir director. Barry spent much of his early years playing the piano and trombone and even played briefly in the Seattle Junior Symphony. In his late teens and early twenties he experienced a spiritual awakening that launched him into his musical career. Though having a strong piano and brass back- ground - he had little to no vocal or songwriting training. But as Barry meditated on the Scriptures – new songs began to come to his heart. With the help and support of his wife Karie, his cousin Kris and his church family, he began to capture these songs on “do it yourself” recording projects.
Over the years – God has brought maturity to his gifting and the fruit of his ministry began to increase. For nine years he was the music director at PCSeattle (church). Barry has also had the opportunity to lead worship at large international and national conferences and has had the opportunity to speak and sing at a Marcos Witt School of Worship in California. His voice or natural ability is nothing extraordinary – it’s nothing less than God’s mercy and grace upon his ministry. Barry just recently finished his first official solo project which was produced by his brother Byron and is attending the online Berklee College of Music in Boston.
This web-site was birthed out of Barry’s heart to share what God has done in his life and to help out others who God is calling into the music ministry. He currently resides in the Sandpoint, Idaho area (above picture) along with his wife Karie-Anne and three boys. (Yes there is a Statue of Liberty in Sandpoint - though much smaller than the real thing)
